This Privacy Policy explains how AGtrack LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information in connection with the AGtrack farm management application and related services (the "App").
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you:
- Download, install, access, or use the App
- Create or administer an account
- Subscribe to, purchase, or cancel a paid plan
- Enter, upload, or manage livestock, herd, or farm records
- Use location-based features or device integrations
- Contact customer support or communicate with us
Information We Collect
Account and Contact Information
Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, farm or ranch names, account credentials, and communication preferences.
Farm and Herd Data
Livestock and herd records, animal IDs, breed, weight, breeding records, vaccination records, treatment records, health notes, pasture records, task logs, photographs, and other information you enter into the App.
Location Information
GPS coordinates, device location, and farm location when you use location-based features. Location features require device-level permissions that you can manage through your device settings.
Payment Information
Subscription plan information, billing contact details, and transaction history. Payment card information is processed by third-party payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Store). We do not store full payment card numbers.
Device and Usage Information
Device identifiers, operating system, app version, crash reports, and diagnostic logs used to operate and improve the App.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the App
- Create, administer, and secure accounts
- Enable herd management features, reports, and analytics
- Process subscriptions, payments, and renewals
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Send administrative notices and security alerts
- Analyze usage and develop new features
- Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations
Data Storage and Security
AGtrack employs multiple layers of security:
- Local-Only Database — All farm data is stored locally on your device in SQLite. No farm data is transmitted to external servers.
- App Lock — Optional PIN and biometric (Face ID / fingerprint) authentication. PIN codes are cryptographically hashed using SHA-256 with a unique per-device salt before storage.
- Secure Storage — Sensitive settings stored using encrypted, hardware-backed secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
- Photo Storage — Animal and farm photographs are stored locally on your device in standard device storage and are not encrypted by the App. Device-level security provides the primary protection for locally stored photos.
- Auto-Lock — Configurable timeout automatically locks the app after inactivity.
- Code Protection — Production builds use compiled bytecode (Hermes engine).
No system is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Information Sharing
We may share information with:
- Service Providers — Vendors that perform services such as hosting, payment processing, and customer support.
- Payment Processors — Apple App Store and Google Play Store process payments under their own terms and privacy policies.
- RevenueCat — We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage in-app subscriptions, validate purchase receipts, track subscription status, and process renewal and expiration events. RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous app user ID, purchase receipt data, subscription status, transaction identifiers, product identifiers, price and currency information, and device platform information. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, farm data, or herd records. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Legal Compliance — When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order.
- Business Transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We may share aggregated, anonymized data that does not identify you for analytics and product improvement.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access personal information we maintain about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete personal information
- Receive a copy of certain information in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications

Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete, de-identify, or archive it in accordance with our retention practices.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended only for adults and is not directed to children under 16. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated policy in the App or sending an email. Your continued use of the App after the updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
